We are based out here in Kahra, which is over in the Saharsa district. It is generally a quiet place, but we keep ourselves busy enough with the engines. Since we are a dealer for Cummins, people from all over the area come to us when their power goes out or a truck stops running. Deepak handles the day-to-day paperwork and makes sure things are organized in the shop. We are located right near the post office, so we are not too hard to find if you are looking for us. We deal with diesel engines mostly, handling parts and repairs and whatever else comes up. It is greasy work and our hands are rarely clean by the time lunch rolls around. We have been in this spot for a while and know most of the faces around town. The weather gets very hot in Bihar, so having those generators working right is important for everyone. We try to keep the common parts in stock so people do not have to wait too long. It is a pretty straightforward business without any big meetings or complicated talk. We just fix things and chat with the customers who stop by. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a mess, but we still open the doors.
