This place is located inside the Essar Hostel grounds over in Kirandul. If you know the Dantewada district, you know it is quite a specific part of Chhattisgarh to live and work in. We handle the daily hospitality side of things for the people staying here. It involves a lot of early mornings because the kitchen has to start well before the sun is even up. We deal with the food, the cleaning, and making sure the rooms are okay for the residents. Madhusudan Senapati is the name on the door. It is a lot of routine work, honestly. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the rooms we manage and the dining area. People who stay here are usually working nearby, so they just want a hot meal and a clean bed. Sometimes the supply trucks take a bit longer to reach us out here in Kirandul, so we have to plan ahead with the groceries. It is a bit dusty around the site sometimes because of the local environment. We have a small crew that takes care of everything. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel; we just keep the place running so the guests have what they need. Most of our staff lives close by, so they walk to work. We see the same faces every day, which makes the work feel a bit more familiar and less like just a job.
