We are located right in front of the primary school in Risali. It’s actually quite nice because you can hear the kids during their break times, which makes the day feel a bit more lively. Being in Bhilai, specifically in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh, gives the place a certain feel. It’s not like a big metro city where everything is rushed. We have our office here and it’s a pretty plain building. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or anything like that. Most people who need to find us already know where the school is, so that helps. Inside, it’s just us working on infrastructure things. We have a few rooms filled with desks and equipment. It can get pretty warm in this part of India, so we are thankful for the shade from the trees outside. We usually start the day with a bit of cleaning and then get straight into the work. There’s always mail arriving or someone stopping by with a question. We don’t spend much time on anything that isn't practical. It’s just a group of us trying to stay on top of our responsibilities. Sometimes we stay a bit late if there’s a big project, but mostly we try to keep regular hours. It’s a honest living and we like the neighborhood. The people around here are friendly and it feels like a community. We just do our work and go home.
