Ultratech Cement

We have been operating here in Hirmi for a good while now. Our spot is out in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh, and most people around here know where the Post-Hirmi office is located. If you are coming by the site, you will probably run into B.K. Singh, who handles our security and keeps an eye on the perimeter. It is a busy place with trucks coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Being part of Ultratech Cement means there is always a lot of work to get through every morning. The weather out here gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep things moving as best as we can. We do not really do much fancy talk around the office. It is just a matter of getting the cement out to where it needs to go for the local builders. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just how it is when you are working with this kind of material every day. Everyone stays busy with their own tasks. We have got a system that works for us, even if it feels a bit hectic when the big shipments are leaving the yard. People from the local villages often stop by or work with us in different ways. It feels like a big part of the local community after all these years. We try to keep things organized, though B.K. Singh has his hands full making sure the whole site stays secure. It is a long day for most of the crew, but that is the job. We just show up and do what needs doing here in Hirmi.
