You can find us over in Masterpada, which is in the Nuasahi area of Phulbani. We operate out of a space cared for by Smt. Tarini Rana, and Dillip Kumar Rana is usually the one you'll see handling things on the ground. Being in the Kandhamal district of Orissa gives us a good base for the mineral development work we do around here. It’s a local operation, nothing too flashy or big. We have our desks set up and we spend our time managing the details that come with this kind of job. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on reports. People from around the district know where Masterpada is, so it’s not hard to find us if you’re looking. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the local rhythms. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Most of what we do involves coordinating with different sites and making sure the administration side of the corporation is handled right here in Phulbani. It’s a lot of paper, a lot of phone calls, and the occasional visitor stopping by for a chat. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of folders get a little high. That’s just life in a working office, I suppose. We're here most days if you need anything at all.
