This joint venture, Gayatri-Gannon Dunkerley & Co.Jv, is based over in Bhilai. Our office is at B-198 on Street No. 07 in Smriti Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet residential-feeling area in Chhattisgarh, which is nice for getting work done without too much noise from the main roads. The office itself is a standard house that’s been converted into a workspace. We have several desks squeezed into the rooms and plenty of shelves for our technical files and project binders. It’s a bit of a tight fit when the whole team is in for a meeting, but we get used to it. We don't have any of that corporate polish or fancy furniture. Everything is quite old and well-used. We spend our days coordinating between the two partner companies, which involves a lot of phone calls and emails. The 490020 area is where we’ve set up our base. We don’t have a big sign or any promotional banners outside to attract attention. Most people find us through word of mouth or by following the street numbers in the neighborhood. We have a small area where we keep our site equipment and some physical samples. It’s a very functional environment for us. We don’t go in for big corporate speeches or lofty missions. We just focus on the engineering tasks and the daily logistics. There’s usually someone around to answer the door, but we don't have a formal receptionist. It’s just us working together to make sure everything stays on track.
