Our place is located in The Orion Apartment on Station Road. We take up Flats 7 and 8 on one of the floors. Being right opposite Hotel Rajdhani makes it easy for people to pinpoint where we are, especially since Station Road is always such a landmark in Aurangabad. The traffic outside can get pretty loud during the peak hours, but inside the apartment units, it stays mostly quiet enough to focus on what we are doing. We have been in this spot for a while, and the rooms are filled with desks and cabinets for all our paperwork. It is not like those modern glass buildings you see nowadays; it feels more like a lived-in space which suits us just fine. Sometimes we have to step out to grab a quick snack from the vendors nearby. The building itself is sturdy and has that typical residential-turned-office feel. We mostly just keep to ourselves and work through the folders and digital files. Most of us take the stairs for the exercise, though there is a lift if someone is feeling tired. We have set up the two flats so there is enough room for everyone to sit without bumping elbows. It’s a busy area, but once you are inside, it’s just about getting the entries right and making sure nothing gets missed. We like the convenience of being near the station and seeing the city move.
