Rachna Paithani Saree Center

Rachna Paithani Saree Center is located at House Number 2465 near Maharana Pratap Chowk. We are in the Pardeshipura area of Aurangabad, not too far from the bus stand. Because we are near the bus stand, there is always a lot of movement. People coming and going from all over the district. Our shop is a busy little place. We have piles of sarees everywhere. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down. We’ve been here for a long time and the building is quite old. It has character, I suppose. We spend our days showing different colors and patterns to women who come in. Some are looking for something for a wedding, others just want a nice saree for a festival. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the ceiling fans spinning away. It gets hot in Aurangabad, especially in the summer. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Maharana Pratap Chowk. We talk to them while we wait for customers. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just show the sarees and let people decide. It's a simple way to do business. We take pride in just being here every day, opening up at the same time. It’s a lot of lifting heavy bundles of cloth. Our hands get tired, but we keep at it. Sometimes we stay open late if the bus stand is still busy with travelers. That is just how we do things here.
