Payal Beauty Parlour

Payal Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Uttam Nagar, which is part of the Jawahar Colony in Aurangabad. Our shop is specifically behind Lodge Jewellers, so you have to walk a little bit off the main street to find us. It’s a quiet little spot in the 431001 area of Maharashtra. We’ve been doing this for years and haven't felt the need to move. The place is small, just enough for a couple of customers to sit comfortably. We have some old posters on the wall that have faded over time, and the floor is just plain tiles. It’s not a fancy salon like the ones in the big malls. We do basic stuff like eyebrows, facials, and simple hair cuts for the women who live around Jawahar Colony. Being behind the jeweler shop means it’s a bit more private, which our customers seem to like. Sometimes we have three or four ladies waiting and they all end up talking about their kids or what they’re cooking for dinner. It feels more like a small community gathering than a business most of the time. We don't have any big advertisements or a website. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the small sign near the jeweler. We just keep our heads down and do our work. It’s a simple living in Aurangabad and we are quite content with how things are here in Uttam Nagar.
