Pawan Kumar Mens Parlour

The shop is at Shop No 2 in Malan Plaza. If you know Jawahar Colony Road in Aurangabad, we are right there. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the Durga Mata Mandir. I open up the shutters early most mornings. The sun hits the front of the shop just right. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Most days it is just regular guys from around the colony coming in for their usual. There’s a lot of traffic on the road outside. Sometimes it gets noisy with the horns, but inside it’s just the sound of the fans and the clippers. I like the neighborhood. People stop by even if they don’t need a haircut, just to say hello or ask about the time. The plaza itself has a few other shops, so there is always someone moving around. I keep the chairs clean and the mirrors wiped down. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we do. Dealing with hair all day makes for a long afternoon, but the tea stall nearby helps. Aurangabad gets hot, so the shade from the building is nice. We don’t do anything fancy, just the basic stuff people need. It is easy to find us if you are walking toward the temple. I just sit here, wait for the next person, and keep the floor swept. That is pretty much the daily life here at the parlour.
