Paranjape Autocast Satara

We are based out in the Satara area, specifically at the Addl. Midc in Kodoli. If you are looking for us, we are tucked behind the Homeopathic College in the Sawant Plaza building. Casting metal is what we do here, and it's a gritty, physical job that keeps everyone on their toes. The foundry environment is something you get used to, with the heat and the constant motion of the molds. We mainly focus on autocast parts, which means a lot of what we make ends up in vehicles somewhere down the road. It isn't a clean job, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished part come out of a mold. The location here in Midc is good because it’s where all the industrial activity happens in Satara. We have a mix of old hands who have been casting for decades and some younger guys learning the trade. Things can get pretty hectic when a big order comes in, and the floor becomes a maze of cooling metal and sand. We don't spend much time on the computer; most of the real work happens with our hands and the machinery. There is usually a bit of dust around the plaza, but that's just part of being in this line of work. We just show up every day, get the furnaces going, and see what needs to be poured into the molds.
