Navjivan Gents Parlour

Navjivan Gents Parlour is at Shop No.1, right in front of Gokul Sweet. We are in the Cidco N 4 area of Aurangabad, specifically in Pundlik Nagar. It’s a lively neighborhood. Being near a sweet shop is nice because it always smells like sugar and frying snacks outside. I’ve been running this place for a good many years. The shop is small, just enough for two chairs and a small space to stand. I spend most of my day here. The walls are covered with some old posters that have been there forever. Most of the men who come here live just down the street. They don't ask for anything complicated. I just give them a trim and a shave. We talk about the local politics or how the crops are doing. Pundlik Nagar has a lot of energy. I like watching the people go into Gokul Sweet while I’m waiting for the next customer. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so I am always sweeping. My clippers are old but they still work fine if I oil them regularly. The shop gets a bit hot in the summer afternoons, but the small fan helps. It’s a basic life, but it’s mine. I know the name of almost everyone who walks through the door. We aren't trying to be a big chain, just a local shop for the guys.
