Lata Beauty Parlour

The shop is located at Shop No 1 in Balaji Tower. It is quite close to the Mukundwadi Railway Station Road, so there is always a lot of movement nearby. We are in the Cidco N 4 area of Aurangabad, right near Kamgar Chowk. It is a simple setup we have here. There are some shelves with different bottles and jars that we use for the work. The walls are painted a light color that we chose a few years back. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but we clean it up every morning before the first person walks in. Most of the ladies from the neighborhood know this tower well. We have a few chairs and a big mirror that takes up most of one wall. It is not a huge place, but it feels comfortable enough for us to work through the day. The tea stall nearby brings us some chai in the afternoon when we have a break. You can hear the trains every now and then since the station is not far. We have been here for a good amount of time now and most of our days are pretty much the same. We open up, get things ready, and wait for whoever needs a bit of grooming. It is just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. It is a steady way to spend the week.
