Jain Precision Tools

Our shop is out in the Chikalthana industrial area, specifically at Plot J-14. Being in the MIDC zone means there’s always something happening nearby, with lots of trucks and other workshops around. Jain Precision Tools is basically just a group of us who know our way around a lathe and some milling machines. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of equipment and stacks of metal stock. We keep the lights bright because the work we do needs us to see what’s going on with the measurements. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we have some old fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't much for fancy office furniture; most of our money goes into keeping the machines running right. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of the afternoon for the crew. We get a mix of orders, some small stuff and some bigger batches that keep us busy for weeks on end. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in work clothes that end up with a few oil stains by the end of the week. We just focus on getting the pieces cut right and packed up for whoever ordered them. It's a lot of measuring and double-checking, then doing it all over again the next day.
