Himroo Fabrics

Our shop Himroo Fabrics has been sitting here near Zaffer Gate on Mondha Road for a while now. Most days it is just us handling rolls of cloth and making sure things are sorted for whoever walks in. It gets pretty busy on this road with all the traffic and people moving about, but we manage. We handle a lot of traditional weaves and different types of materials that people around here look for. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning the shelves and checking what stock we have left from the day before. It is a small space but we pack a lot into it. Sometimes the light isn't great inside so we take the fabric out to the door to show the true colors. My uncle started this and now we just keep it going as best as we can. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just stacks of fabric everywhere and a couple of stools for people to sit. If you are coming from the main market, you just follow the road down toward the gate and you will spot us. We mostly deal with locals who know what they want and don't need much talk. It is straightforward work. We cut the cloth, wrap it up, and that is about it. Sometimes we chat with the neighbors if it is slow. It's just a regular business keeping things moving in this part of town. It stays dusty and loud outside but we don't mind much.
