Ganesh Hair Dresers

We’ve been here by the bridge near Aurangabad station for a while now. It’s always busy with people coming from the trains. You can hear the sounds from the tracks while we work. It’s just a small shop on Railway Station Road. Mostly it’s just guys stopping in before they catch a train or right after they get off. We open early because that’s when the first batches of people start moving around. The bridge is right there, so everyone knows where to find us. It’s not fancy inside. We have the usual chairs and mirrors. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road work and the traffic outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough for the next person. We don’t do anything complicated, just standard cuts and shaves. People come in, sit down, and talk about the weather or the train timings. It’s a loud area, especially during the day, but it feels like part of the neighborhood. Usually, we are here until late evening. If you are walking down from the station toward the bridge, you will see the sign. It’s just Ganesh Hair Dresers. Nothing more to it. We just keep the scissors moving and make sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in from the heat outside. We take our time with each person even when there is a line and people are in a hurry for their commute.
