Dia Architects

Our office is down in the basement floor at Plot No. 42/46 in the Aurangabad Times Colony. It is tucked away near Katkat Gate, so it can be a bit quiet compared to the main roads. Dia Architects is where we do all our drawing and planning for different building projects. Being in a basement means we don't get much sunlight, but it keeps the place cool during the hotter months. We have large tables where we spread out our maps and sketches. The walls are mostly covered with old drawings and notes we’ve made over the years. It is a simple setup, really. We just come in, sit at our desks, and work through the designs one by one. There is always a pot of tea going and the sound of pencils scratching on paper. It is a bit of an old-school environment, nothing like those modern corporate offices you see in the city center. We like it this way because it lets us focus on the actual architecture without too many distractions. Being near Katkat Gate is handy for people trying to find us. The colony is a nice enough place to work from. We’ve been here at Plot 42/46 for a while, and the locals know we are the ones working downstairs. It’s a practical space for practical people. We just take it one project at a time and try to get the details right. That's how we keep it moving.
