Akar Auto Industries Ltd has been tucked away here at E-5 in the Waluj industrial area for quite some time now. If you know the MIDC, you know how it gets during the busy hours. We spend our days mostly surrounded by the sounds of the machines and the usual hum of a workshop that stays busy from morning until late evening. It is not a fancy setup, just a solid building where people come to do their jobs and head home. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know every corner of the shop floor and which machines tend to get a bit temperamental when the weather gets too hot. We focus on the auto parts side of things because that is what we know how to do. There is always a lot of dust and the smell of metal in the air, but that is just part of the life here in Waluj. We don't spend much time on fancy office work; instead, we are usually out back making sure things are moving along as they should. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, but we just deal with it and keep going. It is a straightforward place with people who take their work seriously without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and get the parts out.
