S P Jain Gurukul Higher Secondary School

S P Jain Gurukul Higher Secondary School is out on Bina Road in Khurai. We are part of the Sagar district, 470117. The school has been here a long time and follows a bit more of a traditional way of doing things. It’s a large building with plenty of space for the higher secondary students. We get teenagers from all over the Khurai area. The atmosphere is pretty disciplined, as you’d expect from a place with Gurukul in the name. We have a big gate and a decent-sized yard. The students stay busy with their classes from morning till afternoon. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on getting them ready for their final school years so they can find a job or go to college. The road outside can get a bit noisy with trucks going to Bina, but inside the classrooms, it's mostly just the sound of teachers talking. We have a lot of old furniture that’s still going strong. The walls are lined with charts and maps. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we just keep the place functional. It’s been a steady place for the local community. People trust us because we’ve been here so long. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the kids get their lessons. When the bell rings for the end of the day, there's a rush for the gate. It’s a lot of energy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
