Mansarovar Public High School

If you walk through Green Avenue Colony in Chhatarpur, you’ll find us right there in the M P Nagar area. We are tucked in off Satai Road, which gets quite a bit of traffic during the day. The school building is pretty simple, nothing too flashy, just a place where the local kids spend their time. I usually spend my mornings checking the registers or making sure the gate is clear for the students coming in. There is a lot of dust that comes off the road, so we are always wiping down the tables. It’s a habit now. The playground isn't huge, but it's enough for the kids to run around during their break time. We see a lot of the same faces every year, brothers and sisters coming through the same classrooms. Some of the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up well enough for now. Life in this part of Chhatarpur is steady. We have our routines with the bell ringing and the students lined up for their morning activities. It’s not like those big city schools you see on TV; we just focus on the books and making sure everyone has a seat. Sometimes we have to move the desks around to make room for a new project or an exam. It’s just a normal school day for us, starting early and finishing when the sun is high and everyone is ready to go home for lunch.
