Chhannulal & Bros

Our place, Chhannulal & Bros, is located right in Beni Ganj. If you know where Chhatrasal Square is, we are just a short walk from there. It's an old part of town and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building isn't much to look at, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with the locals who have been coming to us for years. Being near the square means there’s always a lot of traffic and noise outside, which we’ve just gotten used to. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a counter where we talk to folks. It’s a family-run kind of thing, passed down through the brothers. We don't really do much advertising or have a big website. Most people find us because their parents did or they live nearby in Beni Ganj. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but that’s just how it is. We open up early most mornings and stay until the sun goes down. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just try to have what people need when they walk through the door. If we don’t have it, we usually know where to find it. It’s a simple way of doing business that hasn't changed much over the years. We like being part of the neighborhood near Chhatrasal Square. It feels like home to us now and we plan on staying put. It’s just how things are around here.
