Ajay Traders

Ajay Traders is right in the middle of Chowk Bazar at the Golden Plaza. If you know the area, we are directly opposite Govardhan Talkies. That old cinema is a good landmark for people who are trying to find our door for the first time. Chowk Bazar is probably one of the most crowded places you can find around here. There are always motorcycles parked in every gap and people carrying bags of goods everywhere. Being in Golden Plaza means we have a bit of a roof over our heads, but the noise from the street still finds its way in. We are traders, so our days are filled with checking lists and moving boxes around the floor. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we know how to do. The view of the talkies across the street is something we see every day, and it reminds us of how the neighborhood has changed over the years. Some days the bazar is so packed you can barely walk, and other days it is a bit more quiet, like during the heavy rains. We just keep the lights on and handle the trading business as it comes. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. People come to us because they know where we are located in the plaza. We have been here at this spot in the bazaar long enough that the surroundings feel like part of the family.
