Kkf Farmtech Farmer Producer Company Limited is over in Mahavir Chhapra, near the Kusmaulroad area. The company is registered at Sama Devi’s place. This whole part of Jangl Ranee Sohas Kunvari is covered in farms as far as the eye can see. We chose the name Farmtech because we wanted to start using some better equipment to make the work a bit easier. But at the end of the day, we are still just local people working the dirt. We spend our time checking the crops and looking at the soil quality. It involves a lot of walking in the hot sun. We have meetings sometimes to talk about buying seeds in large amounts so we can save some money. It is practical stuff like that which keeps us going throughout the year. The weather is always in charge of what we do. If it doesn't rain, we worry. If it rains too much, we also worry. We help each other out with the work when someone has a problem at home or gets sick. That is the way we do things here. We are not trying to sound like a big business from the city. We just want our land to stay productive so we can give it to our children later on. Our office is just a tiny room with a few files and a fan that barely works. We focus on the crops and the earth beneath our feet.
