Dhanalaxmi Traders

Our place is at 45/1A in Pravikkal, right near the Amayur Post. It is a quiet spot most of the time, which is nice for getting the trading work done. We have a big open area where the trucks can pull in and out without too much trouble. Inside, the walls are just plain brick, and we have several large tables for sorting through the goods. It is a lot of back-and-forth, checking weights and making sure the quality is what it should be. We don't have a shiny sign out front, just the address and the name. Most people who deal with us have been doing so for years, so they know the way. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we manage. We keep a pot of coffee going in the corner of the office. The paperwork is kept in those old metal filing cabinets that screech a bit when you open them. It isn't a corporate environment by any means. We wear comfortable clothes and don't worry too much about appearances. The main thing is getting the trades finished and making sure the orders are ready on time. We usually close up around six, unless there is a late shipment coming in. Then we stay until the job is done. It’s basic work, but it’s what we know how to do best. We’ve been at this location for a while and don't plan on moving.
