Mahathi Fab

We've been at Plotno 21 for a while now. Our spot is on the first floor. It’s a busy place with lots of noise from the tools. Being a fabrication shop, there is always metal moving around. Some days it gets pretty hot up here, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof. We just focus on getting things done. There are a few of us working here. Most mornings start with checking the orders and seeing what materials we have left in the corner. The stairs are a bit narrow to move large pieces, but we manage by being careful with the lifting. People around the area know where we are. It isn't a fancy office with big signs or plush chairs. We just have our equipment and a place to work. Usually, we are busy with welding or cutting parts to size. If someone drops by, they’ll usually find us covered in dust or grease. That is just how it is in this line of work. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for photos. It’s more about the physical labor and making sure the parts fit right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job that needs to go out the next day. It’s just us doing what we know how to do on the first floor. We drink tea twice a day and keep the fans on high. It works for us.
