Manaswi Bakery

We are located at Shop No 1 in Ida Phase Ii, over in Cherlapally. It is part of the Ghatkesar Mandal area. The day starts very early for us at Manaswi Bakery, usually before the sun is even up, because the ovens need time to get to the right temperature. By the time the industrial workers start arriving for their shifts in Phase Ii, we already have the smell of fresh bread and biscuits drifting out the door. The shop isn't very big, mostly taken up by the baking equipment and the display counters. We have glass cases where we put the cakes and buns, though they sometimes fog up when it's humid outside. The floor gets a bit of flour on it no matter how much we clean, but that is just part of running a bakery. We have a small staff and we all know the regulars who come in every morning for their usual snack. Sometimes we run out of certain items by midday if it's been a busy morning. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are more focused on what’s coming out of the oven. It gets quite warm inside, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the back door open to let a breeze in. It is a simple life, mostly just mixing, baking, and talking to the people from the neighborhood who stop by for something sweet.
