Lakshmibalaji Bakers Llp

We are Lakshmibalaji Bakers LLP, and we operate out of Plot No 102/A in Phase II of the IDA in Cherlapally. It is in the Ghatkesar area. The smell of baking usually fills the street in the mornings, which is nice for the people working nearby. We have a couple of large ovens and some big mixing bowls that take up most of the space. It gets really hot inside when the ovens are going full blast. We’ve all gotten used to the heat over the years. We started this because we wanted to make decent products for the local shops and distributors. We don't have a storefront here, it is mostly where we do the actual baking and packing. Trucks come by early to pick up the crates. Sometimes the flour bags get heavy, so we have to be careful with how we move them. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. One person handles the dough, another watches the timers. It is a bit of a rush in the early hours of the morning. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand because that's how we learned. The floor is always a bit dusty with flour no matter how much we sweep it. We just keep our heads down and get the batches done for the day. It’s hard work, but seeing the finished trays makes it feel okay. We finish when the last oven is turned off.
