Anwita Polymers

We have our setup at Plot No.133/1/B on the ground floor over in Phase-Ii of Ida Cherlapally. It is an industrial area so there are always trucks moving around and people loading up pallets of goods. We work with polymers, which basically means we have machines that process plastic materials into different shapes or forms. The factory floor is pretty big but it’s mostly filled with stacks of raw materials and the big cooling units we need for the production line. It is not the kind of place you’d come for a visit unless you had business here because it’s quite noisy and there is a distinct smell of heated plastic in the air all the time. We have a small crew that keeps the machines running in shifts because once you start a batch you can't really stop it halfway through. I spend most of my time checking the gauges or making sure the bags are sealed up properly for shipping. We get a lot of dust in here from the warehouse next door so we are always sweeping up. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on getting the orders out to the distributors who come by with their lorries. It’s hard work and the days feel long when the orders pile up but we manage to stay on top of it. We have been in this part of Cherlapally for a while and know the cycle.
