Sign Innovators

Our business, Sign Innovators, is located at Thamarassery House in Thaikkavu. We are right near the Indian Oil petrol pump, which is the easiest way to explain where we are if someone is looking for us. The building is more like a house that’s been converted into a workspace, so it has a bit of a different feel than a standard office block. We have different rooms for different parts of the sign-making process. One room might be for the design work on the computer, while another is where we actually assemble the signs. It can get a bit cluttered with all the vinyl and tools lying around on the tables. We don’t have a big fancy sign out front itself, which is kind of funny for a sign company, but everyone around here knows where we are anyway. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. We spend our days mostly working through the orders we have and chatting about what needs to be done next. Sometimes we go out to help with an installation, which gets us out of the house for a bit. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping it that way so we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. There’s usually some music playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. It’s just a steady, everyday kind of job for us here in Thaikkavu, and we’ve gotten used to the way things flow in this part of town.
