Worlwide Logistics (India)Pvt Ltd. is based in Avadi, Chennai. You can find us at H.Madhava Sakthi, near the Murali Dress shop in the Verapuram area. Avadi is an old industrial part of the city, and it has its own character. It is usually very hot here, so the office is a place to get out of the sun for a bit. We are surrounded by local shops and small houses. It doesn't look like the kind of place that handles international logistics, but we do a lot of work from this corner. The space is a bit cramped with all the computers and printers we need. We have some posters of ships and planes on the walls, mostly just to help us remember where everything is going. The street outside is narrow and can get crowded with scooters and pedestrians. We spend our days coordinating with ports and warehouses. It’s a lot of typing and talking on the phone. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to people in different time zones. We aren't a big corporate firm with a fancy lobby. We are just a group of people working out of a local building in Chennai. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall owner knows our names. It is a humble setup but we manage to keep the logistics moving as best as we can every day.
