Winners Logistics is set up at No 34 on V O C Street in Meenambakkam. Being so close to the airport means we hear the planes taking off and landing all day long. It becomes like background noise after a while. Our office is a simple place where we handle the logistics of moving goods. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a big sign. It’s mostly about trucks coming in and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and warehouse people. Meenambakkam is a busy spot, especially with the airport traffic, so things can get a bit hectic in the afternoons. We’ve got a few desks and some old fans that keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. If a package needs to get somewhere, we figure out the best way to do it without spending too much. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the shortcuts and the people at the cargo terminal. It’s hard work, and sometimes the hours are long when a shipment is late or there’s a delay at the gate. We just deal with it and get home when we can. It’s a regular job for regular people who know how to move stuff from one place to another without any drama.
