Western Carriers

Western Carriers is located over in Thiruvottiyur, specifically at 137 Jothi Nagar Main Cross Street. Chennai-19 is where we call home and where we do most of our business. Our office is tucked away in the street, and it is usually filled with the sound of trucks nearby or people discussing routes over their lunch. We deal with carrying goods from one place to another. It sounds simple, but there is a lot of coordination involved with the drivers and the cargo owners. We do not use big fancy words to describe what we do here. We just make sure the trucks are loaded properly and the paperwork is signed and ready to go. The humidity in Chennai can be a bit much, but we have lived here long enough that we do not mind it anymore. Our team is small and we have mostly known each other for a long time, which makes the work easier. We handle different types of shipments, mostly local or regional stuff that needs to get somewhere fast. You won’t find us in a high-rise building with glass walls. We prefer being close to where the actual work happens on the ground. Sometimes the schedules get messed up because of traffic or heavy rain, but that is just part of being in the transport business. We focus on getting the job done without making a big fuss about things. People around Jothi Nagar know us as the local carrier company. It is just a regular business.
