Vedavyas Exports

Vedavyas Exports is based at No. 27 Krupha Shankari Street in West Mambalam. If you have ever been to this part of Chennai, you know how tight the streets are and how the crowds never seem to stop. We operate from a small building tucked away here. It’s not the kind of place with a big lobby or fancy furniture. Mostly, it is just us sitting around a couple of tables with our ledgers and some old fans humming in the background. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out on the street checking the crates. Working in West Mambalam has its challenges, especially when we need to move big shipments through the narrow lanes. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck and we have to help them navigate. We don't really have a big team or anything. It's just a handful of us making sure things get where they need to go. We've had our share of late nights when the paperwork piles up or a shipment gets delayed at the port. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a bit messy sometimes and the office is often cluttered with samples, but we get the work done. It’s a simple, local operation and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks.
