Christmas Gift Box

Our shop is a bit hidden, located on the second floor of a building on Reddy Kuppam Road. It’s got two numbers, New No. 3 and Old No. 1/4, which sometimes confuses people who are visiting for the first time. We are right near the Srinivasa Theatre, so if you hear the movie crowds, you know you’re close. At Christmas Gift Box, we spend our days surrounded by cardboard, ribbons, and wrapping paper. It’s a lot of manual work, folding boxes and making sure they look decent. Because we are on the second floor, we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us in shape, I guess. The space is often overflowing with stock, especially when the holidays are coming up. We aren't a big factory; it's more like a workshop where a few of us sit and assemble things by hand. The light in here isn't the best, but we make do with what we have. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while going to the theater. It’s a simple business, just making boxes for people to put their presents in. It’s nice to see the finished stacks of colorful boxes ready to go out.
