Sneham Exports

Sneham Exports is tucked away at 4/25 Nagarathinammal Colony on Govindan Road. If you know West Mambalam at all, you know it can get pretty crowded around here. Our street is a bit more residential than some of the main roads, which makes it feel a little more like home than a workplace. We have a small gate out front and a bit of a porch where we sometimes leave things for the couriers to pick up. Inside, it's mostly stacks of boxes and a couple of old desks where we handle the typing and the phone calls. The fans are always running because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. We’ve been here long enough that we know the lady who sells flowers on the corner and the guy who delivers the water cans. It’s a simple operation really. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just goes and opens it. Most of our day is spent making sure the inventory matches the lists we have on the clipboards. Sometimes we get behind, but we usually catch up by staying an hour or two late on Fridays. It is just a modest place where we try to do things the right way without making a big deal out of it. We just handle the goods and keep things moving as best as we can.
