We've been at the YMCA Building on N S C Bose Road for a good while now. Being right across from the High Court means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows on the third floor. Parrys is a crowded spot, and getting here through the traffic is sometimes a bit of a challenge for everyone. Inside the office, things are usually pretty steady. We mostly deal with the day-to-day work that keeps Wci Madras Pvt Ltd running. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office setup with desks and files everywhere. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know how the local area works. We get our tea from the small shops downstairs and see the same faces every morning. The building itself has that old Chennai feel to it, which we have gotten used to. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs to the third floor instead. It's practical. We do what needs to be done without making a big fuss about things. If you are looking for us, just find the YMCA sign near the court and you are basically there. It is a simple operation we have going on here. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. The work comes first, and we try to keep things moving along as best as we can every day. Most days we are just buried in paperwork and phone calls, making sure the business side of things doesn't trip up.
