Yami Exim

Down on Maravar Street in Watrap, you’ll find our little office at 117-a. That’s where Yami Exim operates from. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. Watrap isn't the biggest place, so everyone kind of knows where things are. We deal with imports and exports, which sounds like it might be complicated, but it’s mostly just a lot of organizing and keeping track of boxes. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things when you know every detail. Our space is filled with files and the usual office stuff. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything. Usually, we’re just on the phone or at our desks making sure the logistics side of things doesn't fall apart. People in the neighborhood see us coming and going at all hours sometimes. It’s the kind of job where things happen when they happen, regardless of the clock. We don’t put out many flyers or anything like that. We just do the work and let that speak for itself. Maravar Street is a good spot for us, fairly quiet most of the time. We’ve grown accustomed to the pace of life here while handling goods that go much further than this town. It’s an interesting mix of being local but dealing with things from far away. That’s just how it goes here.
