Happy Sports

We are over at No. 13/3 Wallahjah Road, right by the K K Stadium in Chapak. Being so close to the stadium makes sense for a sports shop. On match days, the whole area gets incredibly loud and crowded, but we like the energy. Our shop is filled with all sorts of gear, from cricket bats to footballs. It is not the most organized place in the world; sometimes you have to dig a bit to find exactly what you are looking for, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time talking to local players and coaches who drop in. It is a casual atmosphere here. We are not wearing uniforms or following some corporate script. If a piece of equipment is not right, we will tell you. The building itself is older, and the floorboards have some character. We have got posters of famous players on the walls, many of them quite faded from the sun. The breeze from the coast sometimes reaches us, which is nice during the summer months. We do not do a lot of fancy advertising. Most of our customers come in because they were passing by the stadium or someone told them about us. It is a simple operation. We just like being part of the local sports scene here in Chapak. There is always a match being discussed over a cup of tea in the back. That is just the way we do things.
