You can find W I L Car Wheels Ltd over on the Madras Thiruvallur High Road. We are situated within the Tvs Industries area in Padi. It is a big industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise and movement around us all day. We spend our days working with car wheels. It is heavy work and our hands usually end up pretty dirty and greasy by the end of a shift. The facility has been here for a long time, and many of us have spent our whole working lives in this part of Padi. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit to work. We wear heavy boots and clothes that we do not mind getting dirty. The road outside is always busy with trucks and buses going back and forth. We do not have any fancy mission statements or slogans painted on the walls here. We just focus on making sure the wheels are handled correctly. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is not too bad. We have a small break room where we eat our lunch and talk about the news or the weather. It is a tough job sometimes, especially when it gets really hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished so we can head home to our families. That is how it goes. It is just how things are in this part of Padi.
