V.V.P.E.T. Clinic

V.V.P.E.T. Clinic is located at 78 Thirumangalam Road in Villivakkam. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside. The clinic itself is small. We have an exam table and some shelves where we keep the medicines and bandages. It’s usually pretty loud because of the dogs barking or cats making a fuss in their carriers. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us here to handle the animals that come in. The floor is tile because it’s easier to mop up when things get messy, which happens more than you’d think. There’s a desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking if we are open or how much a shot costs. We have some posters on the wall about pet health that have been there for years and are starting to curl at the edges. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with coffee or anything like that. Just a bench and some space for people to stand with their pets. Villivakkam is a good place for a clinic like this because there are a lot of families with animals nearby. We just keep doing our thing day in and day out at number 78, making sure the local pets get seen when they need it.
