You can find us on the third floor of the Cisons Complex. It’s located at 150, Monthieth Road in Egmore. Egmore is a busy part of Chennai, and there is always something going on outside our windows. Vvd Shipping Services has been operating from this building for a good while. The complex is one of those places that has a lot of different businesses tucked away in it. Going up to the third floor every day becomes a habit after a while. We deal with shipping, so there is a lot of paperwork involving ports and cargo. It’s mostly computer work and long phone calls these days. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and a coffee machine that we use way too much. We try to keep things organized, but in the shipping world, things change fast. Sometimes we stay late when a ship is coming in or there’s a delay we need to handle. The air conditioning is our best friend during the Chennai summers. We’ve got a decent group of people here who just want to get the job done without too much fuss. It’s a straightforward life here in Egmore, managing the flow of goods and making sure the documentation is in order for the next day. We don't have much time for anything but the work, but we like the pace of it.
