Vrushub's Palate

Vrushub’s Palate is basically my kitchen extended out to everyone who wants a meal. The name Vrushub has been in our family for a while, and that’s what we called the place when we started. We are mostly focused on the food we make every day. It’s not like those big restaurants with hundreds of items on a glossy menu. We stick to what we know how to cook well. Some days we have a lot of people coming in at once, and other days it’s quieter, which gives us time to clean the stoves and prep for the next day. The kitchen is where most of the work happens, and it can get quite hot in there during the lunch rush. I spend most of my time checking on the ingredients and making sure we don't run out of things mid-service. We don’t have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People mostly come here because they want a meal that tastes like it was made at home. I’ve always enjoyed feeding people, so starting this seemed like a natural thing for me to do. We keep the menu simple because it’s easier to manage and ensures everything is fresh. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the staff members rushing around with plates or boxes. It’s a small operation, but we put in a lot of hours. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes early, and we just have to tell customers.
