You can find us at No. 44 East Coast Road in Kottivakkam. This part of Chennai is always a bit salty because of the ocean being so close. Vitalife Clinic is right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot when you’re driving toward Adyar or heading down to Kovalam. The traffic on ECR is no joke, especially on weekends. Inside the clinic, it’s a bit cooler because of the fans and the AC. We have a simple setup with a few benches for people to wait. We see a lot of people from the local apartments in Kottivakkam. They come in for regular checkups or when they have a cold. We know a lot of the families around here. The floor is tile and we mop it a few times a day because of the dust from the road. It’s just a small local clinic. We don’t have fancy coffee or a big reception area. Just a desk with a computer and a lot of files. The staff is mostly local people who live nearby. Sometimes we have to wait for the doctor to arrive if the traffic is really bad on the highway. We just sit and chat with the patients while we wait. It’s a relaxed place, nothing too formal. We just try to help people out and keep the place running smoothly. We usually wrap up things around seven and head out to avoid the worst of the evening commute before it gets too dark.
