Operating out of Chennai keeps us right in the middle of all the noise and energy of the city. We are Vishranthi Homes Pvt Ltd and we have been based in Tamil Nadu for quite some time now. Chennai is a place where the air is always a bit salty from the ocean and the traffic never really seems to stop. Our office is a functional space where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s crowded with folders and site photos pinned to the walls. We don't have those fancy open-plan offices you see on TV. Instead, we have small rooms filled with the sound of people talking on their mobiles and the clatter of keyboards. Outside, the streets are filled with tea stalls and people rushing to work. It’s a busy environment but it suits the way we work. We are usually more concerned with checking on site progress and talking to the foremen than making the office look perfect. There is always a stack of paperwork to get through and someone is always looking for a lost tape measure. It can be a bit chaotic at times, especially when three different deliveries are supposed to arrive at once. But we have been doing this long enough that we just take it one day at a time. It’s a real, messy, and busy business. Every day brings a new set of challenges with workers and suppliers. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
