Light Pictures

We’ve been at No. 60 Janakiraman Colony for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Villivakkam. Most days start with us checking the cameras and making sure the batteries are charged up. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with the traffic, but we just shut the door and focus on the screens. We do a lot of local stuff, people coming in for small things or bigger events. It’s mostly just us handling the gear and trying to get the lighting right. The space is a bit cramped when we have a lot of equipment out, but we manage. You’ll see us around the neighborhood quite a bit. We don't spend much on advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about us. It gets quite warm in the afternoon, so we have the fan going non-stop. We spend a lot of time looking at frames and trying to figure out what looks okay. There’s always someone coming by to ask a question or check on a project. We keep things pretty simple here. It’s just a regular local shop where we work on pictures and video every day. The shelves are mostly full of old hard drives and cables that we probably should organize better. It’s just how it is. It isn't always perfect, but we like the work and the people we meet. We usually close up when the sun goes down.
