You can find us in Villivakkam at A 6/ 69 in the S. I. D. C. O. Nagar area, specifically on 83rd Street. This is an industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. Our building is a simple one, mostly just a big open space where we can store and sort the items we export. It gets quite dusty because of all the construction and the factories nearby. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is counted correctly. It is not the kind of place where you would wear a suit. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty most days. The street is narrow, so when a big lorry comes to pick up the goods, everything else has to stop. We have a small desk near the door where we keep the logbooks. We don't use any fancy software, just the basic stuff that gets the job done. The guys who work here have been around for a long time and we all know the routine. We start early and usually finish up once the last truck has left. It is hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we like the neighborhood. There are plenty of small shops where we get our lunch. We just focus on getting the shipments out and keeping the records straight. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
