Vijayalakshmi Exports

Our business, Vijayalakshmi Exports, is situated at 361st Bharathiyar Street. We are in F-3 of the Sakthi Ganapathy Flats in Pazhavanthangal. Since we are in a residential building, it’s a lot quieter here than if we were on a main road. It feels more like a home than a strict office, which we actually prefer. We have our desks set up in what used to be a living room, and the kitchen area is where we keep all the shipping supplies and tape. It’s a bit of a tight fit when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work by stacking boxes neatly against the walls. Pazhavanthangal is a nice neighborhood, and the people in the other flats are used to seeing us carry packages down the stairs. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We do all our own packing and labeling right here on the floor. Sometimes we work late into the night when there's a big deadline, and we can hear the neighbors' TVs through the walls. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to handle our exports carefully and keep things simple. There’s no fancy software or complicated hierarchies here. If something needs doing, one of us just gets up and does it. It’s a very direct way to work and it keeps us grounded.
