Vijaya Lakshmi Clinic

Our place is at Flat-1 in the Jeevika Apts, which is No-461 on Dulla Avenue in Shenoy Nagar. It’s a quiet enough spot for a clinic, tucked away from the main noise of the bigger roads. We’ve been here for a while now, and most of the people who come in are our neighbors from around the apartment block or the next few streets over. It’s not a big, fancy medical center with hundreds of rooms. It’s just a small clinic where we handle the usual things like fevers, coughs, and regular check-ups. The waiting room has a few chairs and some old magazines that have been there forever. I try to keep things simple. You come in, you wait your turn, and you talk to the doctor. We don’t have a complex computer system or anything like that, just a desk and some paper files. Sometimes the parking on Dulla Avenue gets a bit full, but usually, you can find a spot. I like being in Shenoy Nagar because it feels like a real community. We see kids grow up and then they start bringing their own children here. It’s just us doing our job and helping out where we can. We keep the floors clean and the fan running. If you’re feeling under the weather, we are right here in the building. It’s a practical setup for the people living nearby and that’s all we ever intended it to be.
