Our place, Vijay Export, is at No. 82 Portuguese Church Street in Seven Wells. If you’ve ever been to Seven Wells, you know the streets are very narrow and always filled with people, carts, and bikes. It’s one of the oldest parts of the city. Our building is tucked away on Portuguese Church Street, and it’s been there for a long time. We don't have a modern office with glass walls; it’s more of an old-school setup with thick walls and small windows. It stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We deal with various goods for export, and our day is mostly spent coordinating with suppliers and transport people. Space is tight, so we have to be very organized with how we stack things. We don't have a fancy entrance, just a heavy door that stays open during the day. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play right outside, and the noise of the street is always there in the background. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of Seven Wells. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We sit at our wooden desks, drink a lot of tea, and make sure the orders are moving out on time. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. We just run a simple, honest business from this old street. We don't worry about being modern.
