Vg Industries

Our workshop is located out in Urawoorapakaam, Chencalcatu, near Kanjipuram. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but we need the space for the machines and all the materials we work with. Vg Industries is basically a small manufacturing unit where we make various industrial parts. The floor is always covered in metal shavings or dust, and there’s a constant drone from the power tools. We’ve got a handful of workers who have been with us for years and they really know their way around the equipment. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s where the real work happens. We handle orders for local businesses and sometimes bigger companies that need specific parts made to order. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them instead of producing anything, which is just part of the job. We don’t have a big corporate office or a sales team. Most of our work comes from people who know us and trust that we can get the job done right. We deal with the heat and the noise every day, just trying to keep the production moving. It's practical work for people who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty. We just keep our heads down and focus on the output, making sure everything is built according to the specs we were given by the clients.
